Heiko Kottkamp has supported the Holtzbrinck Ventures team as CFO since 1 November 2008. Heiko already has many years of experience and a broad understanding of Internet and eCommerce businesses and will therefore be able to support the future development of our young portfolio companies.

Before joining Hotlzbrinck, Heiko was initially responsible for the controlling and accounting commercial divisions at Bertelsmann Online (BOL) covering both Germany and Switzerland. In 2002, Heiko joined PARSHIP (www.parship.com) as CFO whilst the company was still in its development phase. During his six-year involvement with PARSHIP, the company was able to establish itself as the European market leader for online dating / matchmaking.

Alongside his expertise in the areas of finance and controlling, he also brings extensive practical experience with regard to the establishment of necessary processes and structures in young companies and their international expansion.
